Springboard Bounds into the Ontario Water Market
Windsor, Ontario, April 2007 – Springboard Management Inc. officially launched its newly-formed sister company, SpringWater QMS Inc. at this year’s Ontario Water Works Association (OWWA) Annual Conference in Collingwood. On May 6 to 8, SpringWater QMS presented their turnkey solution for the new Drinking Water Quality Management Standard (DWQMS).
DWQMS is mandated throughout the province of Ontario and supports the Ministry of Environment’s Ontario Safe Drinking Water Act, 2002. The standard outlines the minimum requirements for a quality management system (QMS) with which all operating authorities of a municipal drinking water system must comply in order to receive accreditation.
Springboard Management recognizes the time constraints associated with achieving DWQMS compliance and has introduced SpringWater QMS in an effort to facilitate the implementation of an appropriate management system. Springboard’s team of implementers has considerable experience in QMS implementation and expertise in DWQMS. They understand the standard and what it takes to implement a compliant system, and the RRAM application provides a systematic approach to addressing DWQMS requirements.
Springboard’s CEO, Brad Lagassé emphasizes the enthusiasm associated with the introduction of SpringWater QMS Inc. “We are very excited about the opportunity to work with Ontario water utilities and help them meet their DWQMS compliance goals.”
